Rising Life Travels to the Heartland

On June 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, Rising Life travelled 400 miles to Gallatin, MO to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the founding of First Christian Church of Gallatin. To say it was a blessing is an understatement.

After traveling the entire day, the band at FCC's family night and had a great time worshipping and celebrating. The following day, Heath may or may not have slept until 10 AM as the rest of the band looked on. That after noon they went to the amazing Country Cupboard that is rivaled only by their local restaurant, Patti's 1850 Settlement. On Saturday night, Bro. Ray Perryman from Texas brought a scorcher of a message and the band played another full set. The band was served locally made quarter pound beef hotdogs. Yes you read that right! They got up Sunday morning and attended church at First Christian and sang a few specials and worshipped again. The service was beautiful and the message was powerful. The band made it back in to port in Paducah around 8 PM Sunday night. Nearly 1000 miles driven and about 30 songs played, we had an amazing time. We can't wait to go back and visit our new church family for years to come! A special thank you to Stacey Maxwell and Pastor Corey and everyone at Gallatin FCC.

We want to say that the entire church exuded joy and had the light of Christ in them. The hunting lodge they put us up in was second to none. I have spent thousands on places to stay and nothing matched this! They treated us like rock stars and they were all just a real blessing. We have made new life long friends!
